Affiliate disclosure

Understand the link
before you follow it.

Clear labels are part of a useful buying guide.

Current status

Editorial only. No active affiliate links.

The guides currently provide selection frameworks and references. Affiliate monetization is inactive. This preview does not claim that an Amazon Associates application has been submitted or approved.

How paid links are presented

When enabled, paid links must identify their destination and be labeled near the recommendation. Articles also explain the commission relationship before the first paid link. An affiliate link does not open automatically when a page loads or while you read.

Shopping and checkout happen on the seller’s website. Price, availability, delivery, and return information should be checked there. Desk Edit does not process orders or payments.

Evidence comes first

A commission relationship does not establish that a product has been tested or is right for a particular reader. Guides must explain their evidence and limitations. The current drafts are editorial frameworks, with no tested product rankings, live prices, or copied customer ratings.

Any future sponsored content or other commercial relationship must be disclosed in its own context. Read our editorial policy for the publication process.
